Role overview
The intern will help map and fix operational problems for a logistics client whose expanding operations have created bottlenecks and manual workarounds.
This is a fully remote role working with consultants to document workflows, identify data loss, and improve how the business operates.
What you will do
- Review logs and spreadsheets for discrepancies in shipping and tracking data.
- Document the process from initial order through final invoice.
- Interview client staff remotely about frustrations with current tools.
- Update standard operating procedures after process corrections.
- Draft summaries of data-routing failures.
- Test workflow automations and clean Excel datasets for migration.
- Track process-fix progress and report through written updates.
What we are looking for
- Strong logical thinking and pattern or error detection in large information sets.
- Comfort with Excel, including basic formulas and data organization.
- Excellent written communication for documentation and status reports.
- Curiosity about business operations and process failures.
- Focus when reviewing technical logs and reliability in a fully remote environment.
