Responsibilities
- Perform sourcing activities for all non-contracted local purchases from local suppliers based on requisitions received from various departments, ensuring timely sourcing and availability of required goods and services in line with business requirements.
- Validate procurement needs, quality and delivery requirements with internal stakeholders, ensuring sourcing requirements are clearly defined, and purchases meet business needs and customer expectation.
- Process requisitions into purchase orders in a timely manner, ensuring required products are available in line with customer needs and proactively communicating any deviations from expected service levels or process delays.
- Review prices and product specifications from various local suppliers for non-complex items, ensuring compliance with procurement practices, sustainability and ethical purchasing standards to identify the most suitable and cost-effective option.
- Handle customer and supplier correspondences about order status, changes, or cancellations to follow up with suppliers, as needed, to confirm or change orders.
- Inform NCR’s (Non-Conformance Reports) from various departments to suppliers and keep track on the status of NCRs to reconcile or resolve order discrepancies with supplies and other stakeholder complaints.
- Perform contract uploads, facilitate e-auctions and update internal databases with order details and supporting files, including dates, vendors, quantities and discounts, ensuring accurate and timely maintenance of procurement records and supporting efficient transaction processing.
- Identify potential improvement opportunities in the existing working ways by reviewing the current processes to determine optimal setup for purchase requisitions, considering costs, delivery times, product quality and available inventory.

Qualifications
- Education Qualification:
- a) High school diploma or equivalent, preferably in Supply Chain, Procurement, or a related field (preferred)
- b) Additional certification or training in Procurement or Supply Chain Management (preferred)
- Work Experience:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a relevant field
- Experience in a procurement or supply chain environment
- Skills:
- Strong communication skills – Both written and verbal (must have). Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment, especially under tight deadlines. Proficient in ERP systems, and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Capable of planning and managing personal workload, demonstrating initiative and the ability to meet deadlines. Ability to uphold and respect procurement ethics, ensuring integrity in all activities.
