Responsibilities
- Analyze financial information and prepare balance sheets
- Collaborate with management and staff to develop budgets
- Ensure compliance with organizational guidelines, procedures, and relevant regulations
- Resolve accounts payable and receivable issues promptly and accurately
- Perform daily reconciliations of cash, check, and credit card transactions, and maintain invoice records
- Adhere to Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) for financial statements
- Assist in financial audits, tax preparation, and general ledger maintenance
- Prepare income tax returns and fulfill corporate reporting requirements
- Generate monthly financial statements including cash flow, profit and loss, and balance sheets
- Execute end of month closing procedures
- Forecast cash flow and manage supplier and client payment schedules
- Take full responsibility for fit out, construction, and development projects
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
- Certified Professional Accountant (CPA) certificate (advantageous)
- Exceptional problem solving skills and ability to work under pressure
- Strong communication skills and proficiency in math
- Commitment to accuracy and attention to detail

About the Role
- Revive Building Contracting LLC (Revive Renovation) is seeking a skilled and detail oriented Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess an analytical mindset and a strong understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles within the fit out industry.
