Responsibilities
- Lead the in house joinery production facility
- Coordinate workshop operations with Project Managers, Site Engineers, Procurement, and Joinery Supervisors
- Prepare and manage detailed production schedules to ensure on time project delivery
- Plan manpower, workshop capacity, machine utilization, and material flow
- Establish night shift operation, including recruiting, training, and leading the team
- Implement production KPIs, reduce wastage, and improve workshop efficiency
- Ensure high quality standards and seamless coordination between workshop and site teams
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Industrial Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 5+ years of UAE joinery workshop experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial role
- Strong experience in production and installation of custom joinery including kitchens, wardrobes, TV units, vanities, doors, and decorative wall cladding
- Excellent knowledge of laminate, melamine, natural veneer, PU paint, solid wood, and other joinery finishes
- Proven experience coordinating workshop operations with Project Managers, Site Engineers, Procurement, and Joinery Supervisors within a fit out or renovation company
- Ability to prepare and manage detailed production schedules
- Experience planning manpower, workshop capacity, machine utilization, and material flow
- Capable of establishing a night shift operation, including recruiting, training, and leading the team
- Strong understanding of workshop drawings, cutting lists, shop drawings, and quality control procedures
- Experience implementing production KPIs, reducing wastage, and improving workshop efficiency
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem solving skills
- Valid UAE driving licence is mandatory
