Job Responsibilities
1.
Undertaking clerical tasks such as typing, filing, making phone calls, handling mail, and basic bookkeeping.
2.
Helping the accounts and finance manager to maintain the finance operation and keep it running smoothly.
3.
Helping the accounts and finance manager in dealing with internal and external customers and agencies.
4.
Collecting and recording financial information and making sure that account balances are up to date.
5.
Working with spreadsheets, sales and purchase ledgers, and journals.
6.
Preparing statutory accounts.
7.
Calculating and checking to make sure payments, amounts and records are correct.
8.
Sorting out incoming and outgoing daily post and answering any queries.
9.
Managing petty cash transactions.
10.
Controlling credit and chasing debt.
11.
Reconciling finance accounts and direct debits.
12.
Reconciling invoices and identifying discrepancies.
13.
Creating and updating expense reports.
14.
Processing reimbursement forms.
15.
Preparing bank deposits.
16.
Entering financial transactions into internal databases.
17.
Checking spreadsheets for accuracy.
18.
Maintaining digital and physical financial records.
19.
Issuing invoices to customers and external partners, as needed.
20.
Reviewing and filing payroll documents.
21.
Participating in monthly, quarterly, and annual audits.
Job Qualifications
- Has Bachelor’s Degree in business, finance, accounting, or a related field.
- 2-3 years of working experience in the same field.
- Experience working in the restaurant industry.
- Excellent mathematical skills.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly with spreadsheets and accounting software.
- Attention to details, honesty, and integrity.
- Understanding of data privacy standards.
