Responsibilities
- Reconcile daily financial transactions, bank statements, and petty cash
- Process Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR), and maintain general ledgers
- Assist senior staff with month end and year end closing processes
- Issue Local Purchase Orders (LPOs), request vendor quotations, and negotiate pricing
- Maintain supplier databases and verify the validity of debts before processing payments
- Coordinate with warehouse/logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of goods
- Track actual project or operational expenses against the approved budget to identify variances
- Prepare periodic cost reports for management review
- Implement cost saving initiatives and suggest value engineering solutions to reduce company expenditures
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 1 3 years of relevant work experience in the UAE, preferably within F&B industry
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables)
- Experience using ERP systems (e.g., Tally, SAP, QuickBooks)
- Familiarity with UAE corporate policies and VAT compliance is highly preferred

Job Overview
- Royal Destinations Hospitality Services is looking for Junior Accountant cum Purchase Officer.
- A Junior Accountant cum Purchase Officer for our Abu Dhabi, Al Ain, and Dubai outlets with cost control skills manages daily bookkeeping, vendor negotiations, procurement processing, and budget tracking.
- They act as a vital link between finance and operations by auditing costs, matching invoices to purchase orders, and preventing corporate overspending.
Core Responsibilities Accounting & Bookkeeping
