Responsibilities
- Process day to day transactions, including accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR)
- Reconcile bank statements, ledgers, and vendor accounts
- Assist in month end and year end closing processes
- Source goods and services, negotiate prices, and negotiate favorable supplier contracts
- Manage purchase orders (POs), track delivery schedules, and verify received goods against invoices
- Maintain strong relationships with vendors while continually evaluating market prices
- Track purchase prices against established budgets to identify cost saving opportunities
- Monitor inventory levels to avoid overstocking and minimize holding costs
- Prepare routine cost analyses and variance reports to present to management
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration
- 1–3 years in a dual finance/purchasing or cost control role
- Proficiency in ERP systems, Microsoft Excel (advanced functions like VLOOKUP or Pivot Tables), and accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, or SAP)
- Strong negotiation skills

Role Overview

- In this role, you will manage daily bookkeeping and vendor coordination while handling procurement tasks.
- Integrating cost control ensures that all purchases are budget optimized, minimizing variances and preventing company overspend.
Core Responsibilities
