Role Overview
Support the translation of customer requirements into technical audiovisual solutions before project installation.
The role covers corporate boardrooms, classrooms, auditoriums, and digital signage systems.
Core Responsibilities
- Assist senior engineers and sales teams with client site surveys and user-requirement analysis.
- Select appropriate audiovisual solutions.
- Draft single-line diagrams, signal flow schematics, floor plans, and rack layouts.
- Select compatible equipment and prepare itemized bills of materials with cost estimates.
- Review RFPs and compliance matrices for technical compliance.
- Coordinate with AV manufacturers to verify design feasibility.
Technical Competencies
- Understand HDMI, DisplayPort, HDBaseT, and AV-over-IP signal paths including Dante, AES67, and NDI.
- Use AutoCAD, MS Visio, Revit, or specialized AV design tools such as D-Tools.
- Understand control systems and digital signal processors for audio tuning.
- Understand IP addressing, VLANs, PoE standards, and bandwidth calculations for AV-over-IP deployments.
Pay
- Pay is AED 4,000 to AED 5,000 per month.
Work Arrangement
- Work location is in person.
Requirements
- Understanding of AV signal paths including HDMI, DisplayPort, HDBaseT, and AV-over-IP technologies such as Dante, AES67, and NDI.
- Proficiency in at least one listed design tool: AutoCAD, MS Visio, Revit, or D-Tools.
- Fundamental knowledge of control systems and digital signal processors for audio tuning.
- Knowledge of IP addressing, VLANs, PoE standards, and bandwidth calculations for AV-over-IP deployments.
