- Review tender documents, drawings, specifications, and BOQs
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for joinery and woodworking projects
- Calculate material, hardware, labor, finishing, packaging, and installation costs
- Analyze production requirements and manufacturing processes to determine accurate project costs
- Obtain and evaluate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors
- Prepare commercial and technical tender submissions
- Coordinate with design, production, procurement, and project management teams
- Conduct value engineering exercises and identify cost saving opportunities
- Maintain and update cost databases, supplier pricing, and estimation records
- Support project handover by providing detailed cost breakdowns and project budgets
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in joinery and woodworking manufacturing estimation
- Strong knowledge of joinery materials, hardware, veneers, laminates, solid wood, finishes, and manufacturing processes
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and shop drawings
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and estimation software
- Knowledge of UAE market rates, suppliers, and subcontractors is highly preferred

Job Summary
- RUKOOZ is seeking an experienced and detail oriented Joinery Cost Estimator to join our growing team.
- The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates and tender submissions for custom joinery, architectural woodwork, and interior fit out projects while ensuring competitive pricing and profitability.
Key Responsibilities
- Review tender documents, drawings, specifications, and BOQs.
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for joinery and woodworking projects.
- Calculate material, hardware, labor, finishing, packaging, and installation costs.
- Analyze production requirements and manufacturing processes to determine accurate project costs.

Qualifications & Requirements

Preferred Skills
- Experience in architectural joinery, doors, wardrobes, kitchens, and fit out projects.
- Understanding of factory production workflows and installation requirements.
- Ability to manage multiple tenders and meet strict deadlines.
