About the Role

- Contribute to setting organizational objectives and strategic plans for the department.
- Follow up and supervise the implementation of internal methodologies for workflow and operations.
- Organize and distribute work, direct subordinates, and coordinate daily tasks.
- Propose improvements to work processes and motivate employees.
- Provide support in preparing financial reports periodically.
- Participate in preparing the department budget in coordination with team members.
- Review achievement rates and evaluate performance of tasks and employees.
- Supervise the preparation of the institution's budget.
- Supervise the preparation of final accounts and financial reports.
- Monitor and prepare disbursement documents and adjustments, and perform monthly reconciliations.
- Supervise the preparation of salary budget and review budget execution.
- Coordinate with the Finance Department regarding decisions, laws, and role distribution.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent
- 6 years of experience in the field (for Bachelor's)
- Or Master's degree in Accounting or equivalent with 3 years of experience
- Or PhD in Accounting or equivalent with no experience
- UAE Nationality required

General Tasks

- Assist in following up on Finance Department reports and internal/external audit work.
- Provide key analyses for business activities and plans to identify financial risks.
- Manage all accounting tasks and systems to ensure accuracy and integration.
- Ensure maintenance of appropriate internal financial/accounting measures and procedures.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's in Accounting or equivalent
- Or Master's in Accounting or equivalent
- Or PhD in Accounting or equivalent
- Experience: Bachelor's: 6 years; Master's: 3 years; PhD: no experience required
