Role Overview
Seeking a Java Developer with hands-on experience in current Java technologies and the Java ecosystem.
The role focuses on modern Java development, Spring Boot, microservices, REST APIs, and database technologies.
Core Technical Skills
- Strong understanding of current Java technologies and updates in the Java ecosystem.
- Experience with Spring Boot, microservices, REST APIs, and NoSQL databases.
- Exposure to AI-assisted coding tools and practices.
Java and Spring Stack
- Java experience includes object-oriented programming, design patterns, multithreading, Java 8 or later, lambdas, Stream API, REST services, JMS, and reactive programming.
- Spring Boot experience includes annotations, Maven, Spring JPA, Spring AOP, Spring Security, and JUnit.
- Microservices experience includes service discovery, cloud configuration, and Spring Cloud.
Databases and Tools
- Database technologies include Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, and NoSQL.
- Tools include STS, Eclipse, SoapUI, Postman, and Git.
Preferred Technical Skills
- DevOps experience with CI/CD pipelines, automation, and deployment tools is advantageous.
- Additional knowledge of API gateways, Gradle, Azure DevOps, build pipelines, Docker, containers, Kubernetes, AWS, or Azure is advantageous.

Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain applications using Java and modern Java ecosystem technologies.
- Apply object-oriented programming, design patterns, multithreading, lambdas, and Stream API concepts.
- Build and support Spring Boot applications and services.
- Design or implement microservices using service discovery, cloud configuration, and Spring Cloud.
- Develop and integrate REST services, JMS, and reactive programming components.
- Work with Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, and NoSQL databases.
- Use development, testing, API, and source-control tools including STS, Eclipse, SoapUI, Postman, and Git.
- Support build, deployment, automation, and CI/CD activities when required.
- Contribute to containerized and cloud-ready deployments using Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, or Azure when applicable.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience and knowledge of current Java technologies and the Java ecosystem.
- Experience with modern Java technologies including Spring Boot, microservices, and REST APIs.
- Exposure to AI-assisted coding tools and practices.
- Knowledge of NoSQL databases.
- Ability to demonstrate ownership and accountability for tasks and deliverables.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- DevOps experience with CI/CD pipelines, automation, and deployment tools.
