- Prepare and cook a variety of authentic Italian dishes, including pasta, pizza, risotto, sauces, and other traditional specialties
- Develop and maintain menu items in line with restaurant standards
- Ensure food preparation and presentation meet quality and hygiene standards
- Monitor food stock levels and assist with inventory management
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations
- Follow food safety and HACCP guidelines at all times
- Train and guide junior kitchen staff when required
- Collaborate with the Head Chef and Sous Chef on menu planning and new recipes
- Control food costs and minimize waste
Requirements
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience as an Italian Cuisine Chef in a restaurant, hotel, or hospitality environment
- Strong knowledge of authentic Italian cooking techniques and ingredients
- Experience in preparing fresh pasta, pizza, sauces, and Italian desserts
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Culinary certification or relevant qualification is preferred

Role Overview
