System Maintenance
Inspect approximately 5 computers per day and maintain a weekly cycle of 30 to 35 computers
Ensure all computers are running smoothly and securely
Install and monitor system updates and security patches
Monitor system health and performance
Hardware Maintenance
Periodically open and clean desktop computers to remove dust and prevent overheating
Check internal components such as RAM, storage drives, cooling systems and power supplies
Identify early signs of hardware failure
IT Infrastructure Inventory
Maintain a detailed IT infrastructure register including:
Desktop computers
Monitors
Network switches
Routers
Firewalls
Storage devices
Peripherals
Track serial numbers, installation locations, and condition of equipment
Issue Management
Employees will log computer issues using a QR based reporting system placed near their workstation
Diagnose reported issues and resolve them where possible
Escalate complex issues to the IT security team or Harvinder (IT supervisor)
