- Offer first and second level technical support for hardware, software, and networking issues
- Monitor and manage network infrastructure including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points
- Assist with setup, configuration, and maintenance of computers, printers, servers, and other IT equipment
- Install, update, and configure software applications on Windows and Linux platforms
- Manage Active Directory objects such as user accounts, groups, and organizational units
- Administer Windows and Linux based systems including user account management, permissions, file systems, and security configurations
- Document solutions to common problems and maintain a knowledge base
- Stay updated with latest industry trends, technologies, and certifications
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT support with focus on networking, Windows systems, and Linux administration
- Strong understanding of network concepts including TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, VPN, routers, switches, and firewalls
- Proficiency in Windows Server environments including Active Directory, Group Policy, and PowerShell scripting
- Hands on experience with Linux systems (Ubuntu, CentOS, Red Hat) including user management, system updates, shell scripting
- Familiarity with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper V
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Customer centric approach with ability to interact professionally with users at all levels
- Ability to work shifts including nights, weekends, and legal holidays

Job Purpose
- The IT Support Specialist is responsible for providing first and second level technical support to ensure the stability, security, and efficiency of the company's IT systems and network infrastructure.
