- Provide first line IT support via phone, email, or ticketing system
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, network, and printer issues
- Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, and peripheral devices
- Create and manage user accounts, permissions, and password resets
- Perform software installations, updates, and routine system maintenance
- Escalate complex technical issues to senior IT engineers when required
- Maintain accurate documentation of support requests and resolutions
- Deliver timely, professional, and customer focused technical support
Requirements
- Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills
- Basic knowledge of Windows operating systems, Microsoft 365, networking, and computer hardware
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively under pressure
- Team oriented mindset with a willingness to learn new technologies
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (preferred)
- Previous experience in IT support, help desk, or technical support is an advantage
- Familiarity with ticketing systems and remote support tools
- Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft, ITIL, or similar are a plus

About the Role
- We’re looking for a motivated and customer focused IT Support Officer to join our IT team. In this role, you’ll provide first line technical support to employees, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, and help maintain the organization’s IT systems to ensure smooth day to day operations.
