Role Description
- The Compliance Officer role is a part time hybrid position based in Dubai, with the flexibility to perform some tasks from home.
- The Compliance Officer will oversee the development, implementation, and monitoring of internal compliance policies and procedures to ensure alignment with applicable regulations and ethical standards.
Responsibilities
- Conducting compliance risk assessments, reviewing documentation and processes, identifying potential non compliance issues, and recommending corrective actions.
- Collaborating with internal stakeholders to provide guidance on regulatory requirements, preparing compliance reports, and supporting training initiatives that promote responsible communication and transparent practices.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess skills in Compliance Management and Regulatory Compliance to design, implement, and monitor effective compliance frameworks.
- Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills and a solid understanding of Finance to assess risks, interpret data, and evaluate the impact of compliance decisions.
- Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills to explain policies clearly, collaborate with stakeholders, and prepare accurate reports and documentation.
- Relevant experience in corporate governance, risk management, or legal/compliance functions is beneficial.
- Bachelor’s degree in Law, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
- Ability to work independently in a hybrid environment, strong ethical judgement, attention to detail, and fluency in English; knowledge of local Dubai regulations is an advantage.
