Job Overview

Network Management

• Monitor, maintain, and optimize LAN and WAN networks.
• Install, configure, and support routers, switches, firewalls, servers, and related software.
• Implement network security measures and protocols.
• Perform network performance tuning and capacity planning.
• Troubleshoot connectivity issues and coordinate with service providers.

Technical Support and Administration

• Provide assistance for computer systems, software, and hardware issues.
• Respond to user inquiries, diagnose problems, and guide users through solutions.
• Manage helpdesk tickets and ensure timely resolution.
• Maintain operating systems and application software.
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls.
• Back up and restore data and manage virtualized environments.

Documentation and Training

• Maintain documentation of network configurations, system processes, and troubleshooting procedures.
• Train end users on new software and hardware installations.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 2–4 years of experience in IT support or network administration.

Technical Skills

• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN.
• Experience with routers, switches, firewalls, Windows/Linux servers, and Active Directory.
• Familiarity with VMware or Hyper-V virtualization technologies.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware and software issues.

Professional Skills

• Problem-solving, analytical, communication, interpersonal, organizational, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Certifications

• CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Security+, CCNA, or MCSA certifications are listed as preferred.

Compensation

• Pay is AED 3,000–AED 3,500 per month.

Workplace and Employment
