Job Summary
Ontime Group is seeking an experienced AI cum Software Developer to join its team in Dubai.
The role combines software development with Artificial Intelligence, Generative AI, automation, API integration, and AI-powered applications.
The developer will identify opportunities to use AI and automation to improve business processes and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain web and business applications.
- Develop AI-powered applications, chatbots, virtual assistants, and automation solutions.
- Integrate OpenAI, LLMs, and other AI APIs into business applications.
- Develop and maintain REST APIs and third-party system integrations.
- Build AI solutions for document processing, data analysis, information retrieval, and business automation.
- Work with RAG, vector databases, embeddings, prompt engineering, and AI agents where required.
- Develop backend services and database-driven applications.
- Identify repetitive business processes and develop suitable automation solutions.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing applications.
- Ensure applications are secure, scalable, reliable, and user-friendly.
- Work with departments to understand business requirements and develop technology solutions.
- Document applications, APIs, integrations, and technical processes, and research emerging AI technologies.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in software development, AI development, or a related role.
- Strong programming skills in Python and JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Experience with web development and backend frameworks.
- Strong knowledge of REST APIs and system integrations.
- Experience with MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or similar databases.
- Practical experience with Generative AI and LLM applications.
- Knowledge of Git or version control.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Good understanding of software development and testing practices.
Preferred Skills
- OpenAI API or similar LLM platforms.
- LangChain or similar AI frameworks.
- RAG, vector databases, AI agents, prompt engineering, chatbot development, machine learning, or NLP.
- AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, workflow automation, React, Node.js, Django, Flask, or FastAPI.
Candidate Profile
The employer is seeking someone hands-on, innovative, and business-focused who can turn business requirements into practical software and AI solutions.

Job Type and Pay
- The position is full-time.
- Pay is AED 3,500–AED 4,000 per month.
