Job Summary

  • We are looking for an IT Services / Vendor Management Backup Support professional (L2 – Managed Services) to provide administrative and coordination support to the IT Services and Vendor Management function.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with IT vendors for quotations, follow ups, delivery updates, clarifications, and routine service related issues.
  • Support Purchase Request (PR) and Purchase Order (PO) processes by preparing documentation and tracking status with Procurement and internal stakeholders.
  • Review and maintain Procurement Business Case (PBC) documentation and follow up on approvals and status updates.
  • Maintain trackers for contracts, renewals, subscriptions, invoices, procurement activities, and related IT records.
  • Support renewal management activities by coordinating with vendors and collecting required documentation to prevent service interruptions.
  • Assist with invoice verification and follow ups with vendors, Procurement, and Finance teams.
  • Coordinate hardware support activities, including vendor communication and warranty repair follow ups.
  • Provide backup support for software licensing and subscription tracking, including renewal dates and entitlement records.
  • Assist with IT asset management activities, including asset record updates, inventory tracking, issuance/return documentation, and record maintenance.
  • Maintain documentation, filing systems, and prepare basic status reports.
  • Provide general IT coordination support and escalate delays, missing documents, renewal risks, or vendor issues to relevant stakeholders.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Experience in IT administration, IT operations support, vendor coordination, procurement support, or asset management.
  • Basic understanding of IT functions, support processes, and service management practices.
  • Experience with procurement processes, PR/PO tracking, invoice follow ups, and renewals management.
  • Familiarity with Oracle procurement systems (Oracle PR/PO experience required).
  • Knowledge of ServiceNow SAM module is an added advantage.
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Excel, reporting, documentation management, and stakeholder coordination.
  • Good communication skills with strong attention to detail and confidentiality awareness.

Access & Role Scope

  • This role provides backup support only with limited access to approved systems and records.
  • Approval authority, sensitive commercial information, confidential contracts, and restricted IT access will remain with authorized internal teams.

  • Detail oriented and organized professional with strong follow up skills.
  • Comfortable working with vendors, procurement teams, finance teams, and internal IT stakeholders.
  • Able to manage multiple priorities and maintain accurate records.

Pay

  • Pay: QAR8,000.00 QAR13,000.00 per hour
