Role Overview

Nair Systems is seeking a Senior IT Project Manager for its Qatar operations.

The role manages an assigned portfolio of IT projects and supports successful delivery against project goals and customer satisfaction.

Special Skills

  • Strong project management skills are required.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English are required.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills are required.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, and financial management skills are required.

Education and Experience

  • A bachelor’s degree and PMI project management certification are stated for the role.
  • At least eight years of experience managing IT projects in banking and financial services is required.
  • An MBA or master’s degree is a plus.
  • Training courses or certifications in systems technology, management, or banking are a plus.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manage an assigned portfolio of projects using the IT project management methodology.
  • Build relationships with related departments and coordinate across IT to support project completion.
  • Manage vendor engagements and ensure contractual obligations are met.
  • Prepare project initiation, status, closure, and other required reports.
  • Manage project scope, mitigate risks, and participate in team and client meetings.
  • Handle difficult project personnel situations in coordination with Human Capital.
  • Understand system architecture and limitations when solving problems.
  • Support audits, Compliance requests, information security, and confidentiality requirements.
  • Identify professional development areas and take action to improve professionally.

  • The role is for the employer’s Qatar operations.
