Job Overview
Manage, monitor, and maintain core datacenter and IT infrastructure in a 24/7 shift-based environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor mission-critical servers, applications, and ATM networks using enterprise tools (IT360, AppDynamics, FIS/IST switch).
- Execute and monitor routine backup operations using Legato Networker; resolve backup job failures and optimize performance.
- Identify system alerts, troubleshoot operational issues, handle incidents, and escalate complex problems to secondary support teams.
- Maintain accurate operational logs, enforce datacenter security protocols, and support seamless handover across operational shifts.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience in IT Operations and Datacenter operations within a shift-based environment.
- Proficiency with monitoring tools: IT360, AppDynamics, and FIS/IST switch ATMs.
- Practical experience with Legato Networker (EMC NetWorker) and related enterprise backup software.
- Proven track record in IT infrastructure monitoring, alert escalation, incident handling, and hands-on failure resolution.
