Responsibilities

  • Daily IT Operations: Maintain, troubleshoot, and support all hotel specific systems, software, and hardware across both guest facing areas and back of house offices.
  • Efficient Execution: Maintain property wide network stability (Wi Fi, servers, systems) and resolve internal support tickets with a fast, zero friction execution style to ensure uninterrupted hotel operations.
  • Vendor Management: Act as the primary on site point of contact for external technology vendors and local service providers. Leverage networks to resolve critical tech issues swiftly.
  • Negotiation & Procurement: Review hardware quotes, software licensing renewals, and third party maintenance contracts. Negotiate commercial terms and service levels to ensure cost efficiency for the hotel.
  • Data Security & Compliance: Ensure daily system backups are secure and that the hotel’s digital infrastructure complies with local Dubai data security regulations.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience: Minimum 3 to 5 years of IT support experience strictly within the hotel/hospitality industry.
  • Job Knowledge: Strong foundational knowledge of standard hotel networks, Property Management Systems, Point of Sale platforms, guest internet configurations, and server management.
  • Vendor Savvy: Proven track record of coordinating with external tech vendors and navigating service contracts.
  • Negotiating Skills: Strong commercial awareness with the ability to evaluate quotes and negotiate competitive pricing for IT assets.
  • Communication: Fluent in English (written and verbal) with strong communication skills to interact with hotel staff, management, and external partners.
