Role Overview
The employer is seeking an experienced IT/ELV Technician to join the team in Dubai.
Job Responsibilities
- Install, test, and commission structured cabling systems, including Cat6, Cat6A, fiber optic cables, patch panels, and data outlets.
- Install and terminate network, telephone, and fiber optic cables.
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot IP and analog CCTV systems, including cameras, NVRs, and DVRs.
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot CCTV, access control, video intercom, Wi-Fi, network, PA, SMATV/CATV, and structured cabling systems.
- Route, dress, label, and manage cables according to industry standards.
- Conduct cable testing and certification using appropriate testing equipment.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, network layouts, and shop drawings.
- Diagnose and resolve faults in network and ELV systems.
- Coordinate with project engineers and site supervisors to support timely project completion.
- Ensure installations comply with project specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations.
Requirements
- At least 2–5 years of experience in structured cabling, ELV, or low-current systems.
- Hands-on experience in CCTV installation, configuration, testing, and cable termination.
- Good knowledge of Cat6, Cat6A, and fiber optic structured cabling systems.
- Experience with RJ45 termination and patch panel termination.
- Fiber optic splicing experience is an advantage.
- Basic knowledge of IP addressing, switches, routers, and VLANs is preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and installation layouts.
- Experience using cable testers and troubleshooting equipment.
- A valid UAE driving license is an advantage.
- Immediate joiners are preferred.

- The job location is Dubai, UAE.
- The work location is in person.
