Accountant cum Administrator

Role Overview

Accounting and Administration Duties

• Handle daily accounting and bookkeeping activities.
• Maintain sales, purchase, expense, receipt, payment, and petty cash records.
• Prepare UAE VAT records, calculations, supporting documents, and return filings.
• Use Tally Prime for entries, invoicing, receipts, payments, ledgers, and reports.
• Prepare quotations, invoices, purchase orders, payment requests, and commercial documents.
• Manage Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable and follow up on outstanding payments.
• Perform bank, customer, and supplier reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly accounting reports and management summaries.
• Prepare monthly employee payroll and maintain employee, attendance, leave, and payroll records.
• Assist with WPS/payroll-related requirements where applicable.
• Handle office administration, document control, filing, and physical and digital company records.
• Coordinate with clients, suppliers, employees, consultants, and government or authority-related matters.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Have 1–2 years of UAE experience in accounting and administration.
• Have practical knowledge of UAE VAT, Corporate Tax, and applicable UAE tax and accounting requirements.
• Have good working knowledge of Tally Prime.
• Have excellent Excel skills, including formulas, reporting, data management, and reconciliation.
• Have excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• Have strong bookkeeping, payroll, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and bank reconciliation knowledge.
• Have good English communication and organizational skills.
• Demonstrate attention to detail, confidentiality, independent working ability, and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities.

Preferred Candidate

• UAE experience is mandatory.
• Experience in contracting, construction, interior fit-out, or technical services companies is highly preferred.
• Immediate joiners or candidates with a short notice period are preferred.

Compensation

• Salary is AED 2,500 to AED 3,000 per month, depending on experience and qualifications.

Workplace

• Work is performed in person.
