About Flow

About the Role

The Multifamily IT Director will be the on-site team resource for multifamily software implementation and maintenance needs.

The role includes training, vendor management during new system installations, and troubleshooting down systems.

The role will serve as a subject matter expert for multifamily building technology software and integrated hardware.

The IT Director reports directly to the COO.

Responsibilities

  • Apply multifamily software knowledge and quickly master new software used in the space.
  • Ensure property staff use systems as intended and support upgrades, implementations, integrations, maintenance, validation, and release testing.
  • Identify technology requirements, business or residential opportunities, gaps, pain points, and inefficiencies.
  • Provide technical support and initial troubleshooting to on-site teams.
  • Conduct and modify training programs for in-house and vendor products through in-person and web-conferencing delivery.
  • Create standard operating procedures and serve as a subject matter expert on building systems.

Ideal Background

  • 5-10 years of experience in the multifamily residential property management industry.
  • Bachelor's or associate's degree, or completion of technical courses related to telecommunications, is required.
  • Experience or knowledge in property management software such as Yardi, RealPage, Entrata, CRM, screening, and resident applications.
  • Ability to work unsupervised and manage time and workload effectively.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and customer service skills with effective communication across organizational levels.
