Role Overview
Lenovo is seeking an ISG Mechanical Engineering Manager to lead new product introduction into manufacturing.
The role focuses on manufacturability, production processes, line planning, equipment selection, and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Lead manufacturability assessments and new product introduction processes.
- Plan production line layouts and select equipment for new production lines.
- Resolve process and equipment abnormalities on production lines.
- Drive lean production initiatives and continuous improvement projects to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance overall equipment effectiveness.
Position Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Automation, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of manufacturing engineering experience.
- At least 2 years of team management or project leadership experience.
- Proficiency in English is mandatory.
- Experience with server, high-end PC, or telecom equipment assembly is preferred.
