Overview
- Install, operate, and maintain irrigation networks (drip, sprinkler, and pivot systems if applicable).
- Monitor water distribution efficiency across fields and adjust pressure and flow rates.
- Detect and repair faults in pipes, valves, pumps, and irrigation components.
- Execute daily and weekly irrigation schedules as directed by the agricultural engineer.
- Clean and maintain filters and water filtration systems regularly.
- Identify leaks and reduce water losses in the system.
- Assist in extending or modifying irrigation lines as required.
- Ensure compliance with safety procedures during field operations and maintenance.
- Prepare regular reports on system condition and maintenance activities.
