Role Description
The Inventory Planning Assistant supports inventory planning activities to maintain appropriate stock levels and product and material availability.
The role supports demand and replenishment planning, reporting, data maintenance, and coordination across operational teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor inventory levels, stock availability, and replenishment requirements.
- Maintain inventory planning data and relevant systems and records.
- Assist with demand forecasting, stock planning, and replenishment.
- Analyze shortages, excess stock, and slow-moving inventory.
- Prepare planning reports, forecasts, and performance summaries.
- Maintain purchase and replenishment plans.
- Coordinate with procurement, warehouse, operations, sales, and other teams.
- Track purchase orders, stock movements, deliveries, and expected availability.
- Support inventory allocation and stock balancing.
- Investigate discrepancies and support corrective actions.
- Maintain planning parameters, inventory policies, and stock targets.
- Improve inventory availability, reduce excess stock, and increase planning efficiency.
Qualifications
- A relevant qualification in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Inventory Management, Business, Operations, or a related discipline is desirable.
