Role Description
Support the accurate and efficient control of stock across inventory operations.
Maintain inventory accuracy, monitor stock movements, conduct stock checks, investigate discrepancies, and support inventory control procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate inventory records and update stock information in relevant systems.
- Monitor inventory levels and track stock movements, transfers, adjustments, and returns.
- Conduct regular stock counts, cycle counts, and inventory audits.
- Compare physical stock with system records and investigate discrepancies promptly.
- Assist with identifying inventory variance causes and implementing corrective actions.
- Check incoming and outgoing inventory for quantity, condition, labelling, and documentation accuracy.
- Prepare inventory reports and maintain clear and organised stock documentation.
- Coordinate with warehouse, purchasing, operations, and other teams to resolve inventory issues.
- Support inventory reconciliation and ensure adjustments are authorised and recorded.
- Follow inventory control procedures, policies, and quality standards.
- Identify opportunities to improve stock accuracy and strengthen inventory processes.
- Maintain a safe, organised, and efficient inventory control environment.
