About the Role

Responsibilities
- Develop and implement inventory management policies and procedures
- Maintain accurate inventory records in the ERP system
- Ensure optimum stock levels based on sales trends and business requirements
- Monitor slow moving, non moving, obsolete, and damaged inventory
- Reduce inventory carrying costs while maintaining product availability
- Plan and supervise daily cycle counts and monthly stock verification
- Lead quarterly and annual physical inventory
- Coordinate with warehouse teams for proper storage and handling
- Work closely with Purchase Department for replenishment planning
- Monitor inventory across all retail branches and ensure branch stock accuracy
- Generate inventory reports and dashboards
- Lead and supervise inventory controllers and warehouse inventory staff
Requirements
- Minimum 10–15 years of experience in inventory management
- Mandatory experience in Building Materials Trading / FMCG & Retail
- Proven experience managing inventory across multiple warehouses and retail branches
- Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Commerce, or related field
- Advanced ERP knowledge
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (Pivot Tables, Power Query, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP)
- Strong leadership and people management skills
- Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS)
- Professional certifications such as CPIM, CSCP, or Inventory Management Certification are an added advantage
- UAE market experience is preferred

Job Summary
- The Inventory Head is responsible for planning, controlling, monitoring, and optimizing inventory across all warehouses and retail branches.
- The role ensures accurate stock records, minimizes inventory losses, prevents stock shortages and overstocking, and maintains high inventory accuracy while supporting sales and operational requirements.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Develop and implement inventory management policies and procedures.
- Maintain accurate inventory records in the ERP system.
- Ensure optimum stock levels based on sales trends and business requirements.
- Monitor slow moving, non moving, obsolete, and damaged inventory.
- Reduce inventory carrying costs while maintaining product availability.
- Ensure FIFO/FEFO inventory management wherever applicable.
- Monitor daily stock movements across all branches and warehouses.
- Review stock adjustments and approve inventory transactions.
- Investigate inventory discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
- Control stock transfers between warehouses and retail branches.
- Plan and supervise daily cycle counts.
- Conduct monthly stock verification and lead quarterly and annual physical inventory.
Experience Requirements
- Minimum 10–15 years of experience in inventory management.
- Mandatory experience in Building Materials Trading / FMCG & Retail.
- Proven experience managing inventory across multiple warehouses and retail branches.
- Strong knowledge of building materials products and inventory practices.
- UAE market experience is preferred.
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Commerce, or a related field.
