Job Overview

  • DFT Auto Parts is looking for an experienced Inventory Controller to manage and optimize inventory operations across our extensive product portfolio.
  • The ideal candidate will have strong experience in inventory management, ERP systems, and warehouse operations, preferably within the automotive spare parts trading industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate inventory records for 25,000+ SKUs while ensuring stock accuracy and system integrity.
  • Monitor stock ageing, slow moving, and non moving inventory, and recommend corrective actions.
  • Establish and maintain minimum and maximum stock levels to ensure optimal inventory availability.
  • Coordinate with the purchasing team for timely replenishment and stock planning.
  • Oversee inbound receiving, binning, stock transfers, and warehouse location accuracy.
  • Conduct regular cycle counts and support periodic physical inventory audits.
  • Generate daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reports for management.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies in coordination with warehouse, sales, purchasing, and accounts teams.
  • Ensure compliance with company inventory control procedures and warehouse best practices.
  • Analyze inventory trends and recommend improvements to increase operational efficiency and reduce carrying costs.

Requirements

  • 5–10 years of experience in inventory control, preferably within the automotive spare parts, trading, or distribution industry.
  • Experience managing large inventories with 25,000+ SKUs.
  • Hands on experience with ERP systems (SAP Business One preferred) and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets with excellent reporting and analytical skills.
  • Good understanding of import, warehousing, and inventory processes in the UAE experience will be an advantage.
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast paced environment.
  • Good communication and coordination skills with cross functional teams.
