JOB SUMMARY
The Inventory Associate - Auditor is a full-time position responsible for maintaining accurate and compliant records of all cannabis plant materials and products. As a certified agent for the state's track-and-trace system, this role ensures the seamless movement, labeling, and reporting of cannabis inventory from propagation through post-harvest. This position demands high attention to detail, strong organizational and problem-solving skills, and an understanding of cultivation workflows. The Inventory Specialist reports to the Inventory Manager and works cross-functionally with cultivation, processing, and compliance teams.
Schedule
- 6:00 am - 4:30 pm, Monday - Thursday
- Pay: $20.87/hour
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly audits of inventory to ensure full traceability and accuracy between physical counts and compliance software records
Monitor and troubleshoot discrepancies in inventory data and escalate as needed
Verify product counts for supply chain management
Maintain accurate inventory to include verifying physical counts
OTHER JOB RESPONSIBILITES
- Assist leadership in maintaining inventory compliance during internal and external audits
- Record inventory totals and movements in the state's track-and-trace system (e.g., Metrc) and internal inventory software
- Create digital inventory batches, assign package tags, and ensure documentation is accurate and timely
- Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant work environment
- Participate in ongoing training and compliance initiatives
- Perform other duties as assigned
MINIMUM JOB REQUIEMENTS
Must be at least 21 years of age
Must obtain and maintain a valid Registered Agent Card issued by the state
Strong math skills reconciliation skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast paced, highly regulated environment
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
PREFERED JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Proficiency using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Outlook, and Word
- Prior experience using cannabis compliance tracking software (e.g., Metric, Biotrack, etc.)
- Experience working in a highly regulated industry with SOP adherence
- Ability to effectively and efficiently track, analyze, and troubleshoot digital batch and product movement records
