About the Role
- The Internal Auditor Trainee will support the Internal Audit team in planning and executing audit operations, evaluating compliance, and preparing audit reports. This program offers hands on experience and practical exposure to internal audit practices.
Responsibilities
- Assist in planning and monitoring the execution of internal audit operations in accordance with applicable policies, regulations, and procedures.
- Evaluate compliance with institutional policies and procedures, and assess processes related to risk management and other internal audit activities.
- Provide data and manage logistics for external auditors, respond to inquiries, and present supporting evidence to verify accounts.
- Analyze organizational information, data, and outputs to ensure adherence to financial regulations, policies, and procedures, and report any gaps or irregularities.
- Prepare specialized audit reports and documents summarizing internal audit findings, present recommendations, and archive reports in the relevant database.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 0–1 year of experience (fresh graduates and recent graduates are welcome).
- Good English communication skills.
- Basic MS Office skills.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and attention to detail abilities.
- Enrolled in or eligible for the Tamheer Program through HRDF.
