Position Description:

Your future duties and responsibilities:
- Analyze payment transaction data to ensure data integrity and prevent business or technical data leakage. • Support the analysis, implementation, and enhancement of New Wire payment processing solutions, including domestic and cross-border wire payment workflows. • Collaborate with business and technology teams to support payment modernization initiatives, including New Wire and ISO 20022 changes. • Understand application architecture, payment flows, and system dependencies; identify process improvement opportunities. • Support project planning by contributing to scope, timelines, deliverables, and governance documentation. • Troubleshoot business and system issues while ensuring business continuity and recovery readiness. • Ensure system security, data integrity, and compliance with quality standards and best practices. • Support solution implementation, production readiness, testing, user training, documentation, change management, and post-implementation support. • Communicate project progress, risks, and issues to stakeholders, ensuring timely escalation when required
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
- 3–7 years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst, Business Analyst, or in a similar role within banking or financial services. • Strong experience with payment applications, including wire processing (SWIFT and FED), and knowledge of ISO 20022 standards. • Experience supporting end-to-end wire payment lifecycles, including payment initiation, validation, routing, exception processing, reconciliation, and settlement activities. • Strong data analytical skills including SQL. • Knowledge of reporting and analytics tools (e.g., Jaspersoft, Tableau) is an asset. • Self-starter with solid interpersonal skills - projecting a uniquely positive customer-service-oriented attitude. • Ability to work alone and with other members of a team. Must be a team player with exceptional verbal and written communication skills • Create and maintain thorough, up-to-date, functional and technical systems documentation for projects, design, customization and maintenance actions taken • Ability to negotiate winning solutions for customers and projects. • Ability to effectively manage multiple efforts simultaneously and adjust to changes in direction as needed to meet business objective; Make recommendations for system enhancements and changes. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong presentation and communications skills. • Knowledge of project methodologies (SDLC, Agile). Preferred Qualifications • Experience within financial services, banking, payments, treasury services, or cash management environments. • Experience working with payment modernization initiatives and ISO 20022 migration programs. • Familiarity with reporting, data visualization, and business intelligence solutions. • Knowledge of cloud-based technologies and modern integration platforms is considered an asset. CGI is providing a reasonable estimate of the pay range for this role. The determination of this range includes factors such as skill set level, geographic market, experience and training, and licenses and certifications. Compensation decisions depend on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $55,000.00–$105,000.00. This role is an existing vacancy. #LI - OA1
