Interior Designer

Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

• **Prepare initial studies and conceptual design proposals (Concept Design).**
• **Develop interior layouts and space planning in accordance with project requirements and functional needs.**
• **Prepare presentations and 3D visualizations for design concepts and project proposals.**
• **Select suitable materials, finishes, colors, and textures for each project.**
• **Prepare Material Boards and Mood Boards to support design presentations and approvals.**
• **Select and coordinate furniture, fixtures, equipment, and decorative elements (FF&E).**
• **Prepare Interior IFC Drawings and detailed execution drawings.**
• **Develop reflected ceiling plans (RCP), flooring layouts, wall details, and interior detailing packages.**
• **Prepare joinery details and fixed furniture drawings.**
• **Review drawings and ensure compliance with technical standards and project requirements.**
• **Coordinate with architectural, structural, mechanical, and electrical teams to ensure full integration of interior design works.**
• **Review BIM models and ensure compatibility between interior works and other disciplines.**
• **Participate in technical meetings with consultants, contractors, and clients.**
• **Prepare material and finishing specifications.**
• **Review samples and material submittals provided by contractors and suppliers.**
• **Ensure site execution complies with approved designs and specifications.**
• **Conduct site visits and prepare technical reports as required.**
• **Adherence to project schedules and delivery timelines.**
• **Quality and approval rate of design deliverables.**
• **Reduction of revisions and site modifications during execution.**
• **Fast response to technical requests and coordination tasks.**
• **Achieving alignment between design concepts and approved project budgets.**

Role Description

Qualifications

• Solid foundation in Interior Design and Architecture, with the ability to integrate aesthetics, functionality, and local context.
• Proficiency in Space Planning and Interior Design to create efficient, user-centered layouts that align with project goals.
• Experience preparing Construction Drawings and technical documentation that guide contractors and ensure accurate project execution.
• Knowledge of FF&E (furniture, fixtures, and equipment) selection, specification, and coordination with overall design schemes.
• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Familiarity with design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or similar tools).
• Strong visual presentation, detailing, and documentation skills, with a keen eye for materials, colors, and lighting.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with clients, suppliers, and multidisciplinary project teams.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Understanding of building codes, safety standards, and sustainable design principles is an advantage.
