Job Description
- Parsons is looking for an Interface Manager to join their Aviation team.
- The role involves managing and coordinating all interfaces between stakeholders, contractors, and project teams on airport projects.
- The candidate ensures seamless integration of project components and timely resolution of interface issues.
What You'll Be Doing
- Develop and implement an interface management plan.
- Identify and document all interface points between different project components and stakeholders.
- Facilitate regular interface meetings to ensure alignment and coordination.
- Act as the primary point of contact for all interface related issues.
- Maintain effective communication with internal and external stakeholders.
- Identify potential interface issues and conflicts early in the project lifecycle.
- Develop and implement strategies to mitigate and resolve interface issues.
- Escalate unresolved issues to senior management as necessary.
- Maintain comprehensive records of all interface points, meetings, and decisions.
- Prepare regular interface management reports for senior management and stakeholders.
- Ensure all interface documentation is up to date and accessible.
- Ensure all interface activities comply with relevant regulations, standards, and best practices.
What Required Skills You'll Bring
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in project management, with a focus on interface management in large scale infrastructure projects, preferably in the aviation sector.
- Strong understanding of airport operations and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders and resolve conflicts effectively.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
What Desired Skills You'll Bring
- Master's degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
- PMP or similar project management certification.
- Previous experience working in the Middle East region.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
- Ability to communicate in Arabic is a plus.
