About the Role
Gargash Insurance Services is looking for a Marine Insurance Specialist in Dubai to manage policy administration, client relationships, and claims coordination. The role involves obtaining quotations, issuing policies, advising clients, and supporting underwriting.

Responsibilities
- Manage new business, renewals, endorsements, and cancellations for marine insurance policies
- Obtain quotations from insurers and prepare comparisons for clients
- Issue policies, certificates of insurance, cover notes, and related documentation
- Respond promptly to client enquiries regarding marine insurance products and coverage
- Advise clients on suitable insurance solutions based on their business requirements
- Build and maintain strong client relationships to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention
- Coordinate with insurers to resolve policy related queries and service requests
- Gather underwriting information required for marine risks
- Review shipment details, vessel information, trade routes, and exposure to support underwriting decisions
- Liaise with underwriters to negotiate competitive terms and coverage
- Assist clients with the notification and documentation of marine insurance claims
- Coordinate with insurers, surveyors, and loss adjusters to facilitate efficient claim handling
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Insurance, Finance, or a related field
- Previous experience in Marine Insurance within an insurance brokerage or insurance company
- Strong understanding of Marine Cargo, Hull, Marine Liability, Institute Cargo Clauses, and related marine insurance products
- Knowledge of UAE insurance market practices is preferred
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and insurance management systems
