About the Role
Madre Integrated Engineering seeks an experienced Instrument Engineer for Oil & Gas facilities in Doha. The role involves executing and supervising instrument maintenance, testing, calibration, troubleshooting, and commissioning.

Responsibilities
- Perform preventive, predictive, corrective, and breakdown maintenance of instrumentation systems
- Execute instrument loop checking, loop testing, functional testing, and commissioning activities
- Perform installation, inspection, calibration, testing, and troubleshooting of field instruments
- Carry out hook up works for pressure, temperature, flow, and level instruments
- Calibrate and maintain transmitters, switches, gauges, analyzers, control valves, and valve positioners
- Perform maintenance and troubleshooting of pneumatic, electro pneumatic, and smart instrumentation systems
- Read and interpret P&IDs, instrument loop diagrams, hook up drawings, wiring diagrams, and datasheets
- Coordinate with operations, maintenance, engineering, and construction teams during shutdowns and project execution
- Ensure all calibration activities comply with project specifications and quality requirements
- Maintain accurate calibration records, maintenance reports, and technical documentation
- Comply with PTW, LOTO, and HSE procedures at all times
- Perform any additional duties assigned by the supervisor
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Instrumentation, Electronics, Electrical & Instrumentation, or related Engineering discipline
- Minimum 10 years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry
- Hands on experience in instrument loop testing, hook up works, calibration of instruments, and control valves
- Strong knowledge of transmitters, switches, analyzers, control valves, field instruments, and process control systems
- Experience in commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintenance of instrumentation systems
- Ability to interpret P&IDs, loop diagrams, and technical drawings
- Familiarity with HART communicators and calibration equipment is preferred
- Knowledge of PTW, LOTO, and HSE requirements within Oil & Gas facilities
- Experience in shutdown and turnaround activities is an advantage

Job Overview
