About the Role
TALENTMATE is seeking a Civil Instructor for AL TAIF in Abu Dhabi to deliver classroom and workshop training in Civil Engineering subjects. The role requires a Bachelor's in Civil Engineering, four years of instructor experience, and the ability to develop course materials using the Systems Approach to Training.

Responsibilities
- Enforce all safety and security rules, policies and directives
- Advise the Chief Instructor on all course development and delivery functions
- Advise the Chief Instructor on student progress and performance
- Deliver classroom and workshop training in all Civil Engineering related subjects
- Design, develop and analyse courses in accordance with the Systems Approach to Training (SAT)
- Utilize coaching and remedial training methods as required to ensure highest possible graduation rate and test scores
- Serve as primary and alternate instructor for workshop and classroom presentations
- Practice time management in all facets of training
- Ensure all equipment, supplies and computers are accounted for and properly maintained
- Design, develop, maintain and continually improve instructional material including lesson plans, handouts and PowerPoint presentations
- Attend conferences, workshops, demonstrations and training/education programs as directed
- Support other members of the faculty in fulfilling their roles
Requirements
- Bachelor's in Civil Engineering is preferred
- Graduate of a recognized school or military training program in Mechanical Engineering is also preferred
- Minimum of four years of experience as an instructor in engineering/construction subjects
- Minimum of two years of military experience is an advantage
- Have or be able to obtain a valid UAE driver's license
- Previous experience applying SAT or ISO 10015 is an advantage
- Excellent writing skills with aptitude in preparing studies, briefings or doctrinal literature
- Ability to conduct analysis and develop performance oriented instruction and lesson plans
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office software and CMMS is preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, both in writing and verbally
