Responsibilities
- Conduct planned and unannounced inspections of transport and mobility facilities, infrastructure, vehicles, depots, stations, workshops, and operational activities
- Verify compliance with applicable safety legislation, regulations, standards, permits, licenses, and internal procedures
- Perform routine safety inspections to identify hazards, unsafe acts, unsafe conditions, and regulatory non compliances
- Participate in formal safety audits and assist with documenting findings, observations, and corrective action plans
- Monitor implementation of corrective and preventive actions resulting from inspections and audits
- Review safety documentation including risk assessments, method statements, permits to work, operating procedures, training records, and compliance documentation
- Verify that required certifications, licenses, permits, and approvals remain valid and current
- Monitor implementation of regulatory directives, notices, recommendations, and improvement actions
- Participate in investigations of incidents, accidents, and near misses from a regulatory and compliance perspective
- Collect evidence including photographs, witness statements, records, and documentation to support investigations
- Assist in root cause analysis and recommend corrective actions to prevent recurrence
- Prepare accurate inspection, audit, and investigation reports documenting findings, non compliances, and recommendations
Requirements
- Saudi National
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Safety, Engineering, Environmental Health, or a related discipline
- Minimum 5 years of experience in safety inspection, HSE, regulatory compliance, or operational safety
- Experience within infrastructure, transportation, industrial, construction, or mobility environments
- Working knowledge of applicable health, safety, and environmental legislation, regulations, standards, and codes of practice
- Experience conducting site inspections, compliance audits, and regulatory assessments
- Experience reporting safety non compliances and monitoring corrective and preventive actions
- Familiarity with incident investigation processes and root cause analysis methodologies
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to prepare professional inspection reports and regulatory documentation
- Ability to work independently and effectively manage field inspection activities
