Responsibilities
- Read and understand package contract documents, detailed drawings, specifications, and health and safety measures
- Ensure contractors comply with standards and specifications through observation, measurements, and testing
- Maintain records of contractor manpower and equipment daily resources
- Undertake all site supervision and inspections when required
- Document contractor personnel, equipment, activities, location, and methods
- Report on materials delivery and implement site instructions
- Apply and implement all quality controls and quality procedures
- Prepare site measurements and surveying checks
- Monitor conformance to quality, performance, and code requirements
- Monitor health and safety of construction works and report violations
Requirements
- Diploma in Engineering required; Degree in Engineering fields for progression to Engineer level
- Minimum 7 years of overall experience in Electrical related projects (minimum 5 years in UAE)
- Good knowledge of basic design requirements, electrical methodologies, installation processes, and building codes
- Experience in buildings of all types, particularly horizontal development, mixed use residential and commercial, retail and hospitality
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Competent at writing reports in good written English
- Detailed knowledge of construction techniques
- Good team player with high energy levels
- Safety conscious with high level of work ethic
- Ability to work under pressure with professional judgement and solutions approach

Job Summary
- The Electrical Inspector will ensure contractors are compliant with contract documents, coordinate with other teams, and process Inspection Requests and technical submittals.
Job Duties
- Reading and understanding package contract documents, detailed drawings, specifications, and health and safety measures.
- Ensuring contractor compliance with standards and specifications through observation, measurements, and testing.
- Maintaining records of contractor manpower and equipment daily resources.
- Undertaking all site supervision and inspections when required.
- Documenting contractor personnel, equipment, activities, location, and methods.
- Reporting on materials delivery and implementing site instructions.
- Applying and implementing all quality controls and quality procedures.
- Preparing site measurements and surveying checks.
- Monitoring conformance to quality, performance, and code requirements.
- Monitoring health and safety of construction works and reporting violations.
Qualifications
- Diploma in Engineering required; related Degree required for progression to Engineer level.
- Good knowledge in basic design requirements, familiar with Electrical methodologies and installation processes and procedures.
