- Coordinate all technical submissions including shop drawings, material submittals, RFIs, method statements, and engineering documentation
- Review IFC drawings and shop drawings to identify design discrepancies and constructability concerns
- Coordinate with consultants, clients, subcontractors, and internal engineering teams for timely review and approval
- Liaise with Abu Dhabi authorities to obtain technical approvals and ensure compliance
- Monitor status of technical submissions and authority approvals to support project schedules
- Coordinate design changes and communicate approved revisions to project teams
- Ensure engineering documentation complies with project specifications and quality standards
- Maintain accurate records of technical submissions, approvals, and project documentation
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related Engineering discipline
- Minimum 5 years of experience in infrastructure contracting projects within Abu Dhabi
- Strong knowledge of Abu Dhabi authorities' requirements and approval processes (DMT, ADQCC, ADM, ITC, ADDC, TAQA, e&, du)
- Proven experience coordinating technical submissions, shop drawings, material submittals, RFIs, method statements
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office
- Valid UAE driving license preferred

Job Summary
- Seeking a highly skilled Infrastructure Technical Coordinator to join the Engineering team in Abu Dhabi.
- Responsible for coordinating technical submissions, design documentation, authority approvals, and engineering activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate all technical submissions, including shop drawings, material submittals, RFIs, method statements, and engineering documentation.
- Review IFC drawings and shop drawings to identify design discrepancies, technical issues, and constructability concerns.
- Coordinate with consultants, clients, subcontractors, and internal engineering teams to ensure timely review and approval of technical documents.
- Liaise with Abu Dhabi authorities to obtain required technical approvals and ensure compliance with regulations and standards.
- Monitor the status of technical submissions and authority approvals to support project schedules and milestones.
- Coordinate design changes and ensure all approved revisions are communicated to project teams.
- Ensure all engineering documentation complies with project specifications, contractual requirements, and quality standards.
- Support project teams in resolving technical queries and coordinating engineering solutions.
- Maintain accurate records of technical submissions, approvals, and project documentation.
- Collaborate with project managers and site teams to ensure smooth project execution and timely delivery.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a related Engineering discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in infrastructure contracting projects within Abu Dhabi.
- Experience working with leading infrastructure contractors in the UAE is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Abu Dhabi authorities' requirements, submission procedures, and approval processes, including DMT, ADQCC, ADM, ITC, ADDC, TAQA, e& (Etisalat), du.
- Proven experience coordinating technical submissions, shop drawings, material submittals, RFIs, method statements, and authority approvals.
- Ability to review IFC drawings and shop drawings, identify design clashes, and coordinate technical resolutions.
- Strong understanding of infrastructure disciplines: Roads, Utilities, Stormwater drainage, Irrigation, Street lighting, Landscaping.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience with Civil 3D is an advantage.
- Excellent technical coordination and document management skills.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem solving abilities.
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Currently based in the UAE.
- Experience delivering infrastructure projects in Abu Dhabi.
- Familiarity with local authority approval systems and engineering standards.
- Strong attention to detail with a proactive and solution oriented approach.
- Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary project teams.
