Position Overview
Evernorth is seeking an Infrastructure Engineering Lead Analyst to develop, optimize, and fine-tune technical solutions for performance, scalability, and accuracy.
The role supports the software lifecycle from design and development through testing and production support.
The position works with onsite and offshore team members to define scenarios from requirements and acceptance criteria.
Responsibilities
- Apply cloud computing principles and microservice or serverless architectures across major cloud providers.
- Plan and implement infrastructure for scalable distributed systems, including CI/CD pipelines and automation.
- Deploy code to AWS and OpenShift using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab.
- Troubleshoot performance and database issues and maintain efficient operations.
- Implement database security, access controls, encryption, auditing, backup, recovery, patching, and capacity planning.
- Monitor systems with AWS CloudWatch and other tools and create alerting workflows.
- Automate routine database maintenance tasks.
- Collaborate with developers, administrators, and other teams on infrastructure integration.
- Document technical specifications, user guides, and presentations.
- Participate in configuration, releases, installations, Agile sprints, and Scrum updates.
Required Experience and Education
- Minimum of 6 years of IT experience.
- 5 or more years with cloud delivery models, microservices, and public, private, or hybrid cloud deployments.
- 5 or more years with source-control tools and CI/CD pipelines.
- 3 or more years building API integrations, deploying cloud services, and configuring authentication, monitoring, and logging.
- 4 or more years designing and engineering containerized solutions with Docker and OpenShift or Kubernetes.
- 3 or more years with Amazon RDS, DynamoDB, and AWS ElastiCache.
- Proficiency with Terraform and OpenShift or another containerization technology.
- Experience with AWS CloudWatch, Dynatrace, Datadog, or Splunk.
- Knowledge of database recovery, high availability, scaling, troubleshooting, and documentation.
- A bachelor's degree in a related technical area or equivalent work experience.
Desired Skills
- DevOps culture and strong knowledge of Git and CI/CD processes.
- Containerization with Kubernetes or OpenShift and Docker.
- Terraform for cloud infrastructure automation.
- Python or other scripting experience.
- AWS RDS, DynamoDB, DocumentDB, and ElastiCache.
- Agile Scrum or Kanban familiarity.
Location and Hours
- The description states that the position is in Hyderabad and hybrid.
- Working hours are 11:30 AM IST to 8:30 PM IST.
