Role Overview
Design and support secure, resilient, scalable, high-performance, and cost-effective infrastructure.
Work across cloud, on-premises, and hybrid environments, with emphasis on compute, storage, networking, containers, IaC, availability, recovery, and AI/ML workloads.
Candidates may range from infrastructure engineers progressing into architecture to experienced infrastructure architects.
Architecture Responsibilities
- Design end-to-end infrastructure architectures and define compute, storage, networking, databases, and platform services.
- Design infrastructure for data-intensive and AI/ML workloads, including GPU compute, high-throughput storage, scalable processing, and inference.
- Establish IaC, automation, environment management, and configuration standards.
- Design for high availability, backup, disaster recovery, business continuity, RTO, and RPO.
- Address security, compliance, data residency, capacity, performance, and cost optimization.
- Review changes, guide implementation teams, evaluate technologies, and support modernization and migration.
Cloud and Platform Skills
- Experience with one or more of AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform, hybrid cloud, or on-premises infrastructure.
