Role Overview

Join a Group IT team supporting scalable, resilient, and secure digital banking platforms.

Work across cross-functional squads to guide solution delivery and align modern application ecosystems with business strategy.

Collaborate with engineering, security, infrastructure, and business leaders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and deliver end-to-end architectures for mobile, web, and cloud-native applications.
  • Define architecture standards, guidelines, and reusable reference patterns.
  • Embed security into all layers of solution design with cybersecurity teams.
  • Lead architecture reviews covering performance, resiliency, and user experience.
  • Integrate applications with microservices, event streams, containers, and external systems.
  • Conduct peer reviews, lead technical workshops, and coach junior team members.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend adoption strategies.

Technical Expertise Required

  • At least 5 years of experience designing web or mobile applications, microservices, and APIs.
  • Deep knowledge of microservices, API, and event-driven architectural patterns.
  • Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, OpenShift, containers, and service mesh.
  • Strong understanding of OWASP, encryption, identity and access management, and application security.
  • Experience with Azure, AWS, or OCI cloud platforms.
  • Familiarity with Sparx Enterprise Architect, ER/Studio, or similar architecture and data modeling tools.
