Role Overview
Global Software Solutions Group is hiring a DevOps Engineer to support a banking client with operational excellence and technology delivery.
The role focuses on DevOps tools, secure CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, troubleshooting, and operational reliability.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, SonarQube, Nexus, Nexus IQ, and related DevOps tools.
- Implement image signing, image scanning, and Checkmarx controls.
- Develop GitHub Actions and apply GitOps principles for application deployment.
- Deploy and manage applications with Helm and ArgoCD while ensuring availability and reliability.
- Maintain Groovy scripts and logging systems using ELK or Splunk.
- Troubleshoot complex issues and provide solutions for stability and performance.
- Support capacity planning, resource management, vendor management, and stakeholder relationships.
Requirements
- Strong experience with Linux, Jira, Confluence, CI/CD, Pipeline as Code, shared libraries, GitHub, SonarQube, Jenkins, Nexus, Nexus IQ, and other DevOps tooling.
- Strong hands-on experience implementing GitHub Actions and GitOps.
- Strong hands-on experience with Groovy scripting and ELK or Splunk.
- Expert problem-solving, troubleshooting, and solutioning capability.
