Key Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in
Computer Science, Engineering
- , or a related field
- **Minimum 3 years of experience**
- in IT support and operations
- **IT certifications**
- required (MCSE, CCNA, Apple Support certifications are an advantage)
- **Experience in an educational setting**
- is highly desirable
Technical Skills & Knowledge
- Windows (8/10), Windows Server, macOS, and iOS environments
- PC & MAC hardware, peripherals, and application support
- Microsoft Active Directory (delegated domain administration)
- LAN networking, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and routing protocols
- Network, systems, and server troubleshooting
- Audio & video conferencing systems and IP telephony
- Installation, testing, and maintenance of software and IT equipment
Role Responsibilities
- Provide first-line IT support to staff and students
- Maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot campus IT systems daily
- Manage IT inventory, documentation, and software licenses
- Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors
- Support the use of IT across the curriculum and learning environment
- Ensure compliance with safety, data protection, and institutional policies
