Role Overview
The role evaluates IT systems, financial processes, and operational processes for accuracy, efficiency, security, and compliance.
It focuses on strengthening internal controls, identifying risks, and driving continuous improvement across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct internal IT and operational audits to assess controls and governance frameworks.
- Evaluate IT systems, applications, and infrastructure for security, reliability, and compliance.
- Identify fraud, data breach, inefficiency, and control-gap risks.
- Assess adherence to ISO 27001, QCSF, NIA, IFRS, GAAP, and applicable regulatory requirements.
- Review financial and operational processes for accuracy and regulatory compliance.
- Prepare audit reports with findings, risks, and actionable recommendations.
- Support corrective actions and process improvements with stakeholders.
- Monitor audit findings and follow up to ensure timely resolution.
Requirements
- Proven hands-on experience in internal IT auditing within an organization.
- Minimum 7–20 years of relevant experience in IT or internal audit roles, with level varying based on seniority.
- Strong understanding of IT controls, cybersecurity frameworks, and audit methodologies.
