Job Objective

  • Lead business activities and oversee implementation of operational plans to achieve pre defined long term goals.
  • Support implementation and development of IT governance practices and frameworks within the Authority.
  • Ensure alignment of IT strategies with institutional objectives and adherence to policies, standards, and controls.

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop and update IT governance framework, including policies, standards, and guidelines.
  • Review and update policies, processes, and regulatory frameworks periodically.
  • Participate in developing standards and procedures for IT governance and digitalization.
  • Contribute to improving IT service quality by monitoring SLAs and reviewing performance.
  • Analyze IT operations results to ensure alignment with governance and service quality requirements.
  • Identify and assess risks related to technical systems, digitization, and data.
  • Follow up on risk mitigation plans.
  • Support internal audits and evaluation of IT activities.
  • Monitor governance compliance and service quality through KPIs.
  • Advise on improving policies, frameworks, tools, and techniques.
  • Monitor governance maturity and make recommendations to senior management.
  • Provide support in fulfilling external regulator requirements.

IT Service Management

  • Conduct benchmark and research to define and maintain IT service offerings.
  • Collaborate with business users to formulate IT service catalogue.
  • Receive change requests and perform impact assessment on IT services.
  • Gather business requirements and develop IT service portfolio.
  • Set IT service KPIs and monitor Service Level Management process.
  • Negotiate SLAs with service providers and internal stakeholders.
  • Measure adherence to KPIs and generate performance reports.

Organization and Operations

  • Follow all relevant policies and standard operating procedures.
  • Help solve escalated problems and provide support for junior team.
  • Escalate complex problems to relevant person.
  • Perform other duties as requested.

People Management

  • Train junior staff on job activities to ensure transfer of know how.
  • Provide clear direction, prioritize tasks, assign and delegate responsibility.
  • Monitor workflow of subordinates/junior staff.
  • Support junior staff in executing duties according to policies.
