Role Overview
The employer is hiring a hands-on Data Scientist specializing in econometric and predictive modelling in Dubai.
The role develops quantitative frameworks using macroeconomic, trade, and corporate data across 21 countries.
The work supports identification of high-growth markets and targets for multi-country growth strategies.
Responsibilities
- Define macroeconomic, trade, and industry datasets across 21 countries.
- Design econometric, statistical, and predictive scoring models.
- Use sources such as IMF, Bloomberg, LSEG, and Moody's Orbis.
- Establish weighting, correlation, and ranking methodologies.
- Partner with Data Engineering on data pipelines and quality controls.
- Translate model outputs into actionable business recommendations.
Experience Sought
- Experience delivering econometric modelling, statistical design, and predictive analytics.
- Experience with macroeconomic, trade-flow, and global financial data sources.
- Experience with scoring models, variable validation, and model monitoring.
- Collaborative delivery experience with Data Engineering and AI or Advisory teams.
